These transcripts come from a longitudinal study of a Hebrew/English bilingual child conducted by Aviya Hacohen and Jeannette Schaeffer between the years 2002-2003. The child, EK, was raised in Israel by an American mother and an Israeli father, both university professors and both spoke exclusively English at home and with EK. The child’s speech was audio recorded during a one-hour natural interaction with an adult interlocutor, which took place in EK’s home approximately once a week for a period of one year.
