This is a longitudinal case study of a girl, Linda, from 1;3 to 4;2. The data were collected, transcribed, coded and analyzed by Sirli Zupping. Corpus consists of twice-monthly digital audio recordings of hour-long mother-child spontaneous speech interactions from 1 Estonian-speaking child between 1–5 years. The data were collected in southern Estonia from 2011–2016. The child and adult utterances are transcribed in simple transcription.
Linda is Estonian-speaking child growing up in Estonia (in middle-class family). She was born on May 6, 2010. She is very talkative and can be called an early talker.
The recordings were mainly carried out at home, where Linda was playing with her mother and/or her brother. Meal time and other home activities were included.
The Zupping Corpus is collected with support from the National Program’s Project EKKM14-382 "Eesti laste- ja hoidjakeele korpuse täiendamine ja kaasajastamine".
